Schedule: Full-time

Shift: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Location : 2600 Westhall Lane, Maitland, FL

The community you'll be caring for:
  1. Demonstrates Advent Health core values of integrity, compassion, balance, excellence, stewardship and teamwork.
  2. Maintain timely entry and scanning of invoices and Payment Authorization vouchers.
  3. Resolve any invoice problems such as: Same day correction of wrong vendor paid Next day correction of wrong vendor paid.
  4. Run an MAS4 report weekly to clear outstanding invoices before month end.
  5. Maintain and update the Payment Authorization Voucher signature book.
  6. Performs various Administrative and other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department such as: Emptying full A/P batch storage drawers Filing batches daily.
  7. Perform other accounts payable duties which may include: Add new vendors to MA03 Mail out "enclosure" checks Sort and distribute "hold" checks Send correction copies back to Office Managers and do other A/P mail Scan W9's Cross training on other A/P duties/other duties as assigned.
  8. Make copies of all correction made each day to invoices and PAV's-give copies to A/P Supervision.

The AHMG Bookkeeper is responsible for data entry of vendor invoices. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Minimum qualifications:
  • High School Diploma

Preferred experience:
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Needs to have a complete understanding of double entry accounting and needs an operational understanding of routine accounting functions.
