Position Summary :

The Senior Product Manager reports to the Director of Product Development. Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the development and management of one or more products within Solutions' digital health or analytics product portfolios, with specific focus on the commercialization of the ACG System. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for working with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze market needs and gather user feedback to inform new ACG System product features and development. The candidate serves as the primary subject matter expert on the product, understanding the competitive landscape; the product features and the end user experience. The position will have responsibility for gathering requirements from a variety of stakeholders; working closely with the technical development team, sales and marketing team, and with the customer engagement team to articulate the product value to external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully launching health software products in a B2B setting, driving product engagement and working as part of a team to prioritize product features as part of a broader roadmap, having specific knowledge and expertise in the ACG System.

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY AND BUSINESS SKILLS
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry, including an advanced understanding of healthcare workflows, purchaser types, user needs, funding mechanisms, and industry challenges.
  • Lead direction and alignment of the product within the competitive landscape, market trends, pricing and purchasing trends, and emerging trends in healthcare technology.
  • Application of the product features and competitive landscape to create, maintain and communicate product value proposition
  • Maintain and periodically update product pricing
  • Apply understanding of relevant purchaser types, ideal customers, high-value prospects and high-value accounts to product roadmap and prioritization activities
  • Ability to manage product budget, related build expenses, and product-specific vendor relationships

TECHNICAL & PRODUCT STRATEGY
  • Advanced-level subject matter expert in the designated product, including the software development process, cloud technologies, security protocols, and product technical operations
  • Ability to define small to extra-large complex user and product needs, including new features and bug fixes, in relevant user stories and acceptance criteria, and to serve as an expert reviewer of documentation from other product team members
  • Create, manage and execute the product roadmap for a set or features or products based on market need and customer demand
  • Oversee software developers and UX designers to ensure the product is user-friendly and intuitive; conduct user testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement, align required updates into product roadmap
  • Lead product testing, acceptance, go/no-go decisions, and release cycle driving to successful product and feature release

USER AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
  • Engage effectively in discussions with customer facing teams to communicate and explain the value of product features to the user experience
  • Lead basic and advanced/customized product implementations with customer engagement, product and marketing teams
  • Design custom product-driven solutions and applications to support high-value prospects, and implement custom solutions to deliver value to high-value customers or new/pilot product markets and applications
  • Capability to describe value proposition, product information, and market trends to marketing and sales teams, and provide technical review of externally-facing materials; lead product-side GTM activities for new products & upgrades/enhancements (in coordination with marketing)

Competencies:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, health care, information technology or a related field is required

Knowledge: Expert knowledge of the ACG System, product development lifecycle and working in an Agile framework required. Knowledge of digital health and or healthcare SaaS programs is an asset. Working knowledge of product management tools, like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps required. Knowledge of reporting analysis tools like SQL, PowerBI an asset.

Skills- High level of interpersonal skills, written and oral communication necessary to interface with various levels of management as well as faculty, vendor and client interaction. Ability to work independently and meet scheduled timeframes; manage multiple vendor relationships and product development cycles simultaneously; and prepare oral and/or written presentations to senior management. Ability to communicate requirements to technical team and reports and outcomes to customer engagement management team. Ability to identify opportunities to deliver products at scale, efficiently while maintaining high quality high value products

Work Experience- Requires 5+ years' directly related experience managing or developing healthcare software products. 3+ years' directly working as part of a product management or development team, with demonstrated responsibility for at least one product. Experience working as part of an Agile environment required.
