Position Title (Classification Title): Adjunct Instructor Pool - Finance Working Title: Adjunct Instructor Job Summary: To teach undergraduate courses in Finance. Department Accounting & Finance FLSA: Exempt Position Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an AACSB-accredited institution in Finance or a closely-related field including at least 18 graduate semester hours in Finance, coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment. Must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualification for an Instructor position. Preferred Qualifications A doctoral degree in Finance from an AACSB-accredited institution or a closely-related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Finance is a definite plus. Regardless of the degree, it must be coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment and the candidate must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualifications for an Instructor position. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:
This position requires a criminal background screen
Number of Vacancies 10 Work Hours Dependent on enrollment FTE Dependent on enrollment Salary Range $3,000-$6,000/course dependent on academic qualifications Pay Basis Annually Closing Date: 10/21/2024 Special Instructions to Applicants: The Department of Accounting and Finance maintains a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters.
