Flex Work Eligible! This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 work days annually to work remote! The initial amount of days is prorated for the first year based on start date.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The Administrative Assistant, Human Resources provides direct support to the VP Human Resources, and some general support for the Human Resources Department. Through organization, resourcefulness, and efficiency this position will ensure continuity of department activities and accuracy of both reporting and documentation impacting the outcomes of HR, related internal and external audits as well as, providing actionable information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Functional & Technical Skills
  • Support to the VP Human Resources with day to day and project related activities
  • Develops materials to support the VP of HR using such products as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project to maintain project plans
  • Manages appeals of unemployment claims including arguing company position in judicial calls
  • Maintains personnel file security and provides access to confidential personnel files upon request to authorized managerial personnel.
  • Works on HR related projects as a resource for document creation and other materials
  • Records and processes tuition reimbursement for employees and ensures the program meets federal tax regulations.

Customer Support
  • Support department staff with HR and company-wide applications such as Dayforce and Cornerstone HRIS systems and processes related to accounting and budgets
  • Create, and deliver professional correspondence internal to Loram as well as external on behalf of VP of Human Resources and LORAM as a whole
  • Assists with new hire processes; Creates and assembles New Hire Packets, Creates files for HR, Benefits, and Payroll
  • Serve as primary MERSC representative and update the MERSC Bulletin Board folder with current employee discount programs, discount coupons, and discount tickets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent

Experience: 5+ Years' experience supporting executive position, 3+ Years Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio,

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 3+ Years Pervious experience in Human Resources, 1+ Years MS Project experience.

Licenses/Certifications: SHRM-CP Certification
