The Administrative Assistant will perform moderately complex to difficult secretarial and clerical duties under general supervision. Will provide
adminstrative support to the department and coordinate and direct the office support activities and manage a wide variety of records, reports and files.
Will be able to compose letters, memos and reports requiring research and present data accurately to support findings. Will provide support to monitor
and reconcile departmental or program budget and track travel and office expenditures.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required) Or

Minimum Work Experience
2 years secretarial experience, preferably in a medical office or healthcare environment (Required)

Functional Accountabilities
Communication
  • Apply knowledge of programs, policies and procedures to interpret and communicate information to meet specific needs of staff and customers.
  • Independently compose letters, memos and reports requiring research and present data accurately to support findings.
  • Respond to inquiries which require written explanation or interpretation of established policies, procedures and programs.
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; determine course of action and develop appropriate solutions.
Office Technology
  • Integrate varying software or learn new computer applications to meet unique work needs.
  • Serve as a resource to others on a variety of subjects including office equipment, software applications, and information processing procedures.
  • Utilize, reconcile and manipulate data for management reports from different internal and external sources.
