Under general supervision of the Orange County Regional Office (OCRO) Staff Services Manager II, the Office Technician (Typing) regularly performs varied clerical work of substantial difficulty; consistently exercises a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks; uses good judgment and the ability to communicate effectively when responding to numerous inquiries and requests for assistance. This position will also provide clerical support to the Regional Advisory Committee and Quality Assurance Project or CRA/VAS or SDP project, as needed.

Department Information
The State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) is an independent state agency mandated by federal and state law to pursue systemic change, capacity-building, and advocacy to promote a person-centered consumer and family-based system of services and supports for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or crossed disabilities. The goal of the federal law is to enable individuals with I/DD (self-advocates) to maximize their self-determination, independence, productivity, and community integration and inclusion. The State Council (Council) consists of 31 voting individual, family, and agency members, all of whom are appointed by the Governor.

Working Conditions
- This position is eligible for hybrid telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. All telework schedules are subjectto change and may be reevaluated at any time. Specific telework arrangements may be discussed in more detail with the respective hiring manager.
