Key Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinate admission of transfer students to residential campus programs in the Heavener School of Business
• Operate a student admissions system and complies with standard policies and regulations
• Explain university application requirements and processes to potential students
• Select potential students for the university based on their qualifications and sends out offers
• Process transfer admission applications for residential campus business programs
• Respond to transfer admissions inquiries in person, via zoom, phone, and email
• Maintain admissions database and provide periodic statistical reports
• Maintain posting of admissions information on Heavener School of Business website
• Assist with development of brochures and other promotional materials
• Collaborate with HSB UF-online business Admissions Officer to ensure uniformity with procedures and policies established by HSB and UF
• Interpret articulation agreements for the State University System and Community/State College system in Florida
• Interact with and serve as liaison to UF Transfer Admissions and Transcript Evaluation teams

Termly Processing
• Assist with certificate application processing for current HSB students
• Serves as primary evaluator for readmission applications. Work with Director of Advising for verification of eligibility
• Complete course directives on student records (SIS) for private/out of state approved transfer courses for residential campus students admitted to HSB.
• Assist Academic Advising team with Transient student application requests during peak times

HSB Prospective Student Representative
• Serve as representative for special requests for tours and informational meetings with prospective students and families
• Create prospective student informational packets

Other duties as assigned
• Periodically present information on transfer admissions to HSB at Staff Meetings
• Occasional travel to Florida community colleges for student recruitment programs
• Serve as Marshal for Warrington College and/or UF commencement ceremonies

Expected Salary:

$45,000 - $50,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across divisions and in a culturally diverse environment. Excellent verbal, written, and technical (computer software) skills. Knowledge of UF policies and procedures.
