Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in AEM support engineering system engineering frontend backend and authoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work on complex projects. Experience in wireless equipment and CDMA wireless domains is a plus. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our companys goals.

Responsibilities

• Strong development experience in AEM 6.x and familiarity of all AEM building blocks including editable templates Core Components Dialogs CUG Sling API
• Design and develop web applications using AEM including components workflows schedulers Sling Model Maven Git Jenkins including deployment processes
• Proficiency in AEM building blocks and front-end technologies.
• Development experience creating SPAs with ReactJS
• Experience with AEM integration with 3rd party services.
• Knowledge in secure web programming and development best practices
• Understanding and analyzing the Business requirements design a business solution and work with different functional teams to deliver the solution.
• Working with development teams and product managers to build software solutions/web applications.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure smooth user experience
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git Bitbucket
• Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
• Lead the development and maintenance of AEM-based applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Oversee the implementation of AEM components templates and workflows to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AEM-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate AEM solutions seamlessly with other systems.
• Develop and maintain AEM authoring tools to enhance content management capabilities.
• Ensure the security and scalability of AEM applications by following best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to maintain code quality.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders

Certifications Required

Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Dev/Ops

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
