At Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench, you will be working in a collaborative engineering/production environment that fosters creativity and innovation. You will work with divisional sales, sourcing, engineering and technical support in order to provide the best possible solutions with timing that meets customer needs.

You will actively develop sales strategies and develop new products and new product literature to facilitate sales.

The compensation range for this position is $99,028.80 - $155,084.80 annually. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus. What you will own & improve:
  • Create Aftermarket product proposals with a Customer Focused mentality and ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved before order by utilizing engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and other teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with international sales centers, and local technical and commercial experts to develop a solution that meets or exceeds customer requirements for process or equipment redesign, machine modernization or repair.
  • Collaborate with various departments to accurately prepare quotes and lead times for needed services.

What you will learn (if you don't know already):
  • How to provide budgetary and firm priced bids in support of customer due dates.
  • How to create budgets and develop cost adders as required by customer's needs and specifications.
  • How to support both technical and if required, commercial negotiations.
  • How to provide direct customer support when required, which may include domestic or international travel.
  • You will have a broad technical understanding of the performance, mechanical, and electrical features of turbomachinery products.

What you already know:
  • Have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related subject.
  • How to excel in interpersonal relationships including transparent communication, the ability to work in a team, and a positive make-happen attitude.
  • How to communicate and collaborate with internal team members and international locations.
  • How to manage multiple key customers, projects, and daily tasks
  • Self-starter: positive make-happen attitude, capable of handling multiple tasks, able to self-correct and self-improve
  • National and International travel as required
  • You have general product sales skills, including friendliness, patience, and empathy and can apply these to the needs of both customers and internal stakeholders.

This role reports to the Aftermarket Applications Manager, and you will work as part of a dynamic team to help achieve departmental and company goals. Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company LLC is located on the beautiful Central Coast of California. We manufacture a wide range of Turbo Expanders and equipment that support sustainable resources.
