JOB DESCRIPTION:
POSITION SUMMARY :
Position is responsible for providing various financial and analytical support as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
  • Collect and analyze financial data.
  • Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual cost.
  • Calculate NRV.
  • Estimate costs and compare budgets with actual expenses.
  • Monitor costs after significant changes in products or processes.
  • Monitor and resolve recall/warranty discrepancies.
  • Provide other financial, analytical & ad-hoc support as requested.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Bachelor's degree required, with major in accounting, Finance or Business-related preferred.
  • ERP experience preferred, (AS400 & SAP is a plus).
  • COGNOS/Power BI experience required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting/finance required.
  • Manufacturing and or automotive experience preferred.
  • Experience with global/international manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of product costing and pricing principles and methods.
  • Familiarity of cost accounting systems and techniques.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting systems: GL, A/R, A/P, budgeting and forecasting systems.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.), advanced Excel experience preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and a team player.
  • Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management.
  • Systems and data management skills required.
