Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join 1st Shift. The primary role of the Assembly Technician is to assemble large and small parts into finished products by reading work instructions and other documents, while maintaining quality and meeting production schedules. Precision tools and small machinery may be used in the assembly process.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's):
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and basic division).
• Ability to effectively read, interpret, and follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
• Flexibility and cooperation in performing other duties as assigned.
• Ability to change shifts when business necessitates.

Required Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or the equivalent.

Preferred/desired Qualifications:
• One (1) year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous Lean Manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements (ADA):
• Ability to travel to and from the primary work location(s).
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally.
