Insight Global is looking for an IT Asset Managment Analyst to work for a large financial customer of ours. This individual would be responsible for supporting the implementation, documentation, and management of asset and configuration management program. This includes establishing and updating hardware and software lifecycle processes, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with governance and operational standards. This role will collaborate closely with IT and business units to ensure effective asset and configuration management practices.

Responsibilities may include:
- Act as a liaison between IT and other business units to address asset management process issues and improvements.
- Establish and update hardware and software lifecycle processes from acquisition to disposal.
- Monitor lifecycle processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and implement inventory management processes for hardware and software assets.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Develop, document, and maintain process standards and workflows for asset and configuration management.
- Ensure all processes are aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals.
- Implement and update control processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to established controls.
- Ensure governance and operational structures are followed within asset and configuration management.
- Develop and enforce policies to maintain process integrity and compliance.
- Ensure control evidence are collected and/or stored and made available for all audit and control activities.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on asset and configuration management processes.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops as needed.
- Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into asset and configuration management performance.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor data quality and assist in regular audits to ensure compliance with policies.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience in IT asset management processes and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools, specifically ServiceNow.
- 3+ years of experience with ITIL process framework and best practices.
- Knowledge of configuration (including CMDB) management processes and best practices
- Excellent documentation and process development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
