Our continuum of care offers a variety of services: Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Adult Day Program, Complex/Transitional Rehab Care, Long Term Care and secured areas for those with memory impairment.

The Assistant Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Business Office. The primary responsibilities are maintaining billing and cash collections.

Duties:
Major job functions include: Assisting residents and families in applying for Medical Assistance. Communicating with Counties on status of MA application weekly. Obtaining authorizations from managed Medicaid plans for custodial care. Completing 1503/3543 timely with frequent follow up with counties. Bill Medica Assistance and Managed Medicaid plan. Work aging weekly, clearing credits and balances. Works closely with other facility departments to ensure accurate and timely results; maintains daily census; performs/oversees financial screening process on all new residents and changing payor type; ensures completeness and accuracy of the resident financial files; produce collection letters in accordance with policy and procedure, ensures documentation of all collection efforts; ensures timely billing of all payor types that will result in payment; ensures integrity of all resident financial data, auditing and adjusting accounts as necessary; attend meetings as required.

Qualifications :
Requires 1-2 years' experience in health care related accounting/billing. Experience with Medicaid in a SNF setting. Prefer Bachelor's degree. Computer knowledgeable including Word and Excel. Requires 1-2 years' experience with Point Click Care.

Work Schedule :These full-time Assistant Business Office Manager positions work 8-hour shifts: 8:00am to 4:30pm.
