AUM College of Nursing and Health Sciences department of Communication Disorders is seeking qualified applicants for a non-tenure track clinical faculty position. Doctorate degree preferred, Master's degree required. Recent clinical experience and teaching experience at the baccalaureate level desired.

Position Description:
Classroom and clinical instruction in the undergraduate program in accordance with the needs of the department
Participation in clinical, departmental, and university service
Demonstrated ability and potential for professional growth

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge and insights gained from the exploration of his/her area of specialization
  • Ability to communicate to professional peers
  • Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned
  • Ability to demonstrate academic ability and potential for professional growth
  • Teaching will be face to face and/or online


Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have an earned Master's degree. Doctorate degree preferred in Speech Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Science, or related field, A.B.D. candidates are eligible. Candidates must have experience in clinical supervision and clinical practice. Must show potential for excellence in teaching and a commitment to university, community, and professional service. CCC - SLP from ASHA and eligibility to be a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Alabama required.
