Assistant Director of Admissions
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is recruiting an Assistant Director of Admissions to provide leadership to the admissions records team. The successful candidate will be a key asset to a dedicated and energetic admissions team and campus community. This position is responsible for managing professional staff, admission processing workflows, and will be solely responsible for international application processing.

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is recruiting an Assistant Director of Admissions to provide leadership to the admissions records team. The successful candidate will be a key asset to a dedicated and energetic admissions team and campus community. This position is responsible for managing professional staff, admission processing workflows, and will be solely responsible for international application processing.
Essential Duties:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations within the Admissions Office, including managing work assignments, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Provide direct supervision of processing staff including coordinating individual performance goal-setting, conducting yearly evaluations, approving leave reports, and other supervisory tasks.
- Facilitating training programs and professional development initiatives to equip staff members with the necessary skills and competencies to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Proactively research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools relevant to admissions operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement. This includes conducting feasibility studies, assessing costs and benefits, and making recommendations for implementation.
- Work with the Director to review admissions requirements annually and ensure the Academic catalog is up to date.
- Coordinate with the College Credit Plus (CCP/Dual Credit) team to ensure a smooth admissions process in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date on international admissions processing and visa changes and best practices. Coordinate with the international student office to ensure a smooth admissions process
- Coordinate with the appropriate Registrar's Office team members on various tasks including, but not limited to undergraduate transcript evaluation.
- Collaborate with the CRM manager on various projects related to the application process.
- Serve in the place of the Director of Admissions when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a relevant discipline.
- 3-4 years experience working in a higher education setting.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain privacy
- Possesses strong leadership skills and confidence to make decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a college admissions or registrar's office
- Experience working with a CRM and/or Student Information Systems
- Experience supervising professional staff.
- Experience coordinating and prioritizing work and activities of self and others
