Assistant Director of Engineering responsibilities include:
  • Oversight of the operation of the hotel inside and outside; knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering
  • Serve as an engineering leader and technical expert in answering inquiries and resolving issues brought forth by engineering team members
  • Oversee detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for departmental team members to use and abide by
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departmental leaders, supervisors, suppliers, and contractors
  • Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in facility/building maintenance
  • Refined oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests and business partners
  • Established experience as a team leader, with proven ability to strategically install practices to achieve business goals
  • Be computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with HotSOS, building management systems, commercial HVAC equipment and commercial kitchen equipment preferred
