The Assistant Rooms Operations Manager - Front Office is responsible for oversight of day-to-day processes of Arrival Hosts, Bell/Valet, PBX, Night Audit, and Transportation, while also assisting guest experience. The role will have exposure and responsibilities in primarily Front Office, Guest Services, and Transportation with additional oversight in Housekeeping and Laundry. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage functions related to the arrival center of the hotel, including arrival / departure experience, Bell/Valet, PBX, Night Audit, and Transportation.
• Upholding encouraging culture, an environment of inclusivity, colleague and guest engagement.
• Anticipating business opportunities to enhance guest and colleague experience.
• Controlling expenses, and driving the highest level of customer service.
• Coaching and counseling
• Maintaining departmental standards

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and drive to create, implement, and follow through on operational initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
- 2+ years of Hotel Management experience.
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset.
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.

- Implementing and maintaining wellness-focused initiatives and programs within the resort
- Maintain guest room inventory with room assignment and upsell planning
• Coaching and counseling
• Maintaining departmental standards
- Perform all tasks of a Front Office and Housekeeping as needed to facilitate service
- Insures proper staffing levels and scheduling for customer service goals
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest billing queries and/or complaints
- Overseeing the operation and maintenance of transportation company partnership.
