VUSD California Education Code 45256.5(b) Employees whose positions are designated as senior management of the classified service shall be part of the classified service and shall be afforded all rights, benefits, and burdens of other classified employees, expect that they shall be exempt from all provisions relating to obtaining permanent status in a senior management position. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or related field and five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience managing business services in a public agency with at least three (3) years in a management capacity. School district experience is highly preferred. A Chief Business Official (CBO) certification from the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) is highly desirable.

Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the contract.
