JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting with supporting the stable operation of the Piedmont Healthcare computer
network in the facility to which they are assigned. The person will, with assistance, install, maintain, and
document all network hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring minimal network
downtime. The primary focus for the Network Analyst will be Local Area Networks (LAN) in the facility
they are assigned. The person will also assist in the diagnosis, resolution and documentation of hardware
and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and
support where required. Trouble ticket resolution and documentation in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists with support to network infrastructure initiatives in the areas of preventative maintenance,
configuration back-ups, capacity planning, network redundancy, and disaster recovery.
2. Provides basic network administration.
3. Assist with monitoring network infrastructure.
4. Assist with updating network documentation both written and network diagrams.
5. Assist with installations and new facilities and monitors par levels of equipment.
6. Assist with maintaining and supporting our production environments through moves, adds, and
changes.
7. Assist with the maintenance of security in the network architecture by following Piedmont Healthcare
standard policies and procedures pertaining to this area.
8. Evening and weekend on-call support via remote assistance and possible onsite support. Occasional
travel in the Atlanta area may be required; you must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's
license.
9. Keep current on new and innovative computing technologies.
10. Promotes corporate integrity through compliance with the Piedmont Healthcare Corporate
Compliance Program.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year of IT experience including hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation, and
maintenance of network equipment is required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Cisco Certified Network Analyst is preferred.
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
