We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer and Inventory Control Associate focused on Energy Service to join our team. The role is to provide experience and expertise in setting up and maintaining facilities dedicated to holding service inventory. They will optimize layout and flow of the space while performing daily cycle counts, reviewing, and troubleshooting inventory transaction issues while working closely with cross functional operational teams and local management teams, with the primary goal of optimizing space and processes while improving inventory accuracy.


Responsibilities
  • Determines material slotting and create systematic and physical locations with labels. Identifies racking/labeling discrepancies and proactively corrects the issues
  • Performs frequent cycle counts of on-site materials providing accurate cycle count metrics to inventory control and financial leaders. Assists with general material handling and inventory control activities as required
  • Meets or exceeds cycle count objectives and KPI's each week/month. Performs and assists with variance reconciliation, and correction transactions
  • Identifies on-site inventory discrepancies, investigates root causes and recommends improvements to cross-functional teams for the purpose of obtaining high levels of inventory accuracy
  • Resolves issues with pending orders, troubleshoot system issues, and work with material planners to ensure material receipt
  • Verifying pick accuracy and provide discrepancy feedback for on-site root cause and correction by the service team
  • Audit network warehouse locations for accurate inventory, slotting, labeling and best practice execution


Requirements
  • Previous experience as a cycle counter or inventory control associate and knowledge of inventory systems (WARP, MOS/MES, SAP or equivalent)
  • Strong computer and analytic skills, especially Excel (intermediate level required)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to identifying data inaccuracies
  • Ability to work independently on daily tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable to changing priorities
  • Trained to operate mobile equipment, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days (Valid driver's license required)
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular, and repetitive basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate data analysis and collaborate effectively across Warehouse stakeholders
