Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. In this role, you will collaborate with counterparts across Product, GBO, Finance, Legal, and other functions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven insights that support decision making and help define, land and execute on key strategic priorities for the Play organization, and enable the team to solve ambiguous challenges by identifying creative approaches to deliver insights.
  • Scope and define a project's problem statement, establish frameworks, and develop data based solutions that guide users on how to assess business trade offs and ROI outcomes.
  • Structure and perform analyses independently, and conduct research to uncover critical insights that will lead to business recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date on data analytics tools and technologies to help drive strategic analysis, and communicate data findings to stakeholders clearly.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate findings, lead cross-functional global project teams to achieve business objectives through data-driven methods.
