  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Business Management.
  • Experience manipulating data sets, data visualization, statistical analysis and database languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Experience in management consulting, private equity, or a related role at a technology company.
  • Experience with SQL and analytical tools.
  • Experience in leadership and ability to coach others.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

In this role, you will collaborate with counterparts across Product, GBO, Finance, Legal, and other functions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Play product and cross-functional leadership to identify, evaluate, influence, and execute on growth opportunities, focusing on data-driven insights.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to structure and execute a range of strategic analyses and develop executive-level recommendations.
  • Establish new operating cadences for new strategic initiatives and scale operations as necessary to longer-term owners.
  • Establish and lead operating processes and tools for managing the organization and achieving goals, and influence team members and executive management to act and drive projects to completion.
  • Support executive narratives that communicate the Play strategy, ensure the team stays informed on ecosystem trends, and articulate implications for Android ecosystem.
