  • Manage Applied Power Division Government Property as the Government Property Administrator.
  • Understand Government Property regulations within the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to ensure contract compliance. Understand the different contract types and their impact on Government Property.
  • Address Division and client inquiries knowledgeably, timely, and professionally.
  • Provide training and resources to Division employees to effectively manage Government Property movement, transfers, and dispositions.
  • Accurately maintain the Division asset management database.

  • Conduct annual wall to wall inventory audits with clients.
  • Perform annual internal audits and provide the final report.
  • Communicate with technical personnel and management to schedule periodic inventories in order to gather all necessary information to ensure asset records are up to date.
  • Monitor purchase requisitions daily for accountable Government Property.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and calibration schedules.
  • Identify property issues as they arise and implement practical solutions.
  • Prepare Government property reports within deadlines, including disposition requests, asset transfer documents, final reports, and other reports required by contract.
  • Prepare and track shipping documents for moving and/or transferring assets.

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Government Property Management or directly related with related experience.
  • Certified Professional Property Specialist or Administrator is preferred but not required.
  • 0-6 years: Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills. Pays extreme attention to detail.
  • 0-6 years: Working knowledge of FAR part 52.245 and DFARS part 245 and other contract clauses impacting government property.
  • 0-6 years: Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs (such as Word, Excel, and EQuip).
  • 0-6 years: Excellent interpersonal skills to interface and coordinate with clients and technical employees.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
