Qualifications
3 yrs. exp. in auditing or accounting which must have included 18 mos. auditing exp. in accordance with auditing standards or in accordance with prescribed management policies &/or procedures as specified on agency position description.
-Or completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting, business administration, computer science or related field; 12 mos. exp. in auditing or accounting which must have included auditing.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Job Skills: Auditing
- Carries out the Ohio Casino Control Commission's audit and compliance programs over casino gaming, sports gaming, and fantasy sports contests.
- Conducts compliance, financial, and general audits including audits of control systems, programs, environments, transactions, accounts, balances, and regulatory requirements.
- Develops and implements data analysis techniques.
- Interprets data and analyzes results using data analysis procedures in conjunction with audit and compliance programs.
- Aids in identifying potential auditing concerns and makes suggestions for audit program improvements.
- Prepares audit reports including documentation of procedures, supporting evidence, information, and findings in accordance with division standards.
- Performs research and investigates non-compliance.
- Recommends and follows up on corrective procedures.
