Summary:

We are seeking an experienced individual capable of addressing engaging technical challenges by defining, designing, and troubleshooting application code, platforms, and infrastructure. The idea candidate will prioritize reliability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Automate processes wherever feasible to reduce technical issues. Strong skills in Python and Java are essential for this role.
  • Identify and implement process improvements: infrastructure that scales, automating manual processes, etc.
  • Take ownership of the various tasks that will allow us to maintain high-quality data; ingestion, validation, transformation, enrichment, mapping, storage, etc.
  • Improve observability across the data infrastructure to ensure data quality from raw sources to downstream systems.
  • Collaborate with the teams to deploy and support reliable, scalable tooling for analysis and experimentation.
  • Collaborate with the dev teams to anticipate and support changes to the data.

Required Skills:
  • Support data warehouse batch and drive continuous optimization and improvement.
  • 4 to 8+ years of relevant work experience around automation and financial or regulatory reporting.
  • You have strong experience with relational and non-relational data stores.
  • Experience writing Python and Java.
  • You understand database performance concepts like indices, segmentation, projections, and partitions.
  • Require Shell Scripting in Unix environment.
