Title: DevOps Engineer (Automation)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Location: Lake Mary, FL

***Team works a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)***

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support our Technology Team. Prior experience with automation of Financial/Banking applications, specifically in compliance/AML strongly desired. We will teach consultants on our specific products (Actimize Product Suite) but an understanding of AML/Compliance/Fraud Monitoring applications/tools would be very helpful.

Essential Functions:

• Create and manage automated build and release pipelines in DevOps deploying.
• Collaborate with other DevOps engineers and cloud architects to design and build a scalable infrastructure and cloud platform for our high-volume customer facing applications and web APIs.
• Design and implement Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) frameworks.
• Work with infrastructure and development teams to automate common processes using tools Shell Scripting and Ansible.
• Work across Development, IT Operations and Infrastructure teams to support ongoing development efforts and new initiatives to deliver value to our internal and external customers quickly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and configuration issues in our development, QA and production cloud environments.
• Manage DevOps related projects, and oversee work from other team members.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and 8+ years of professional post graduate experience in technology role.
• 5+ years of Systems/DevOps experience required.
• 3+ years with Unix Shell scripting required.
• 2+ years using Ansible for automation, configurations and scaling.
• 2+ years' experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Moogsoft, Control M
• Experience supporting Java based applications.
• Strong experience with taking manual operations and providing solutions to automate.
• Strong experience with IT operations and support on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, particularly with build and release pipelines and CI/CD technologies or similar tools.
• Experience in infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar tools & configuration management experience with Ansible or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of agile principles.
• Experience working as part of an integrated software development team in an agile methodology.
• A team oriented mindset and desire to work collaboratively with infrastructure, development, and data teams.
