The Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes by leveraging advanced automation technologies. This individual will collaborate with process engineers, supervisors, and plant management to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and identify areas for improvement within electrical and process automation systems.
  • Technology Implementation: Develop and implement new automation standards, structures, systems, and equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying best practices and driving change.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to production, maintenance, and management staff on automation technologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective project execution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with a focus on advanced automation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of steel manufacturing processes, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, shipping/warehouse operations, and supervision.
  • Proven ability to train and coach employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
