What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Drive overall market growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company's market presence.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients in the automotive industry.
- Expand contacts and build a robust network within the automotive electronics sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the automotive market.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin optimization, and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, QuickBase) and advanced Microsoft Excel data analysis and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to be a self-starter, grasp new concepts quickly, adapt to changing environments, and contribute effectively to team goals.
