AWS Architect

Insight Global is looking a AWS Architect to join a world renowned aviation corporation. This person will be supporting the corporations next generation product support organization and will be working alongside several other cloud engineers and architects. We are seeking someone with strong AWS cloud infrastructure design and implementation experience. This person will also be in the weeds with the DevOps team, so a very strong Kubernetes and Microservices background is required. This position will sit in Plano, Ridley Park, PA, or St. Louis, MO, and offers the opportunity to grow in an enterprise level environment.

Responsibilities
• Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
o Design and implement AWS cloud-based solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
o Utilize Terraform for creating cloud resources and ensure infrastructure is provisioned as code.
o Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• DevOps and Automation:
o Leverage DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD processes.
o Deploy AWS cloud resources using Terraform and DevOps methodologies.
o Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in AWS
• Proven experience in cloud architecture with a strong application development/Microservices background(Java, API's, Microservices)
• Extensive experience with AWS infrastructure resources and automation tools like Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes and GitHub.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering type field, or math

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Someone coming from an aviation company and is familiar with some terminology
