We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Architect with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Glue AWS EMR AWS Lambda Amazon Dynamo DB Amazon S3 Apache Spark and Python. Additionally expertise in the Cards & Payments domain is essential. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable data processing solutions ensuring data integrity and optimizing performance to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using AWS Glue AWS Lambda and Apache Spark.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
  • Provide technical expertise in Python for scripting and automation tasks related to data engineering.
  • Optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices for DB Performance Optimization.
  • Develop and maintain data models that support business requirements and enhance data accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain high coding standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of AWS Glue AWS EMR AWS Lambda Amazon Dynamo DB and Amazon S3.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in , Apache Spark and Python for data processing tasks.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the Cards & Payments domain and related compliance requirements.
  • Show experience in implementing data security standard processes.
  • Display good communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • Be familiar with agile development methodologies and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a strong understanding of AWS Glue AWS Lambda and Apache Spark for data processing and integration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
  • Have extensive experience in DB Performance Optimization to ensure efficient database operations.
  • Show expertise in Data Modelling to create robust and scalable data structures.
  • Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
