Job description

Infosys is seeking AWS Python Developer. In the role of Technology Analyst, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, and test plans, and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talents in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our client's business needs. Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US

• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in software development using Python and AWS cloud application development
• Experience implementing AWS CloudFormation and CI/CD structures
• A strong understanding of relational databases and SQL queries
• Experience in AWS Lambda function development

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong understanding & experience of Python programming and its associated libraries
• A strong understanding and use of asynchronous Restful API patterns
• Able to define, document and communicate, middleware and back-end architectures
• Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of desired product
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, Non-functional requirements (NFRs)
• Experience working in and have a good understanding of Development processes like Agile, waterfall
• Having good analytical ability
• Having good communication skills is a must as the role requires regular discussion with clients and business teams to elicit the requirements
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external parties

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
