Back End Developer (Java/Pyspark)

Insight Global is seeking three Back End Developers to join one of their top financial clients in New York City. These individuals will be joining the Global Commercial Services Technology organization and will be aligned to a multi year data initiative within the payments domain. These developers will be focused on redeveloping, restructuring, and building out new services and orchestration layers in order to support the relocation of highly classified data across country specific data stores.
This role is a true developer role, we are not seeking a Data Engineer. However, due to how data intensive these applications are, we are seeking someone who understands building out heavily integrated data layers and understands data domain concepts, system of record capabilities and working in large scale data environments.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience focused on back-end development with Java
- Strong understanding of building out data centric applications should understand building out applications that are heavily integrated with different data domains and SOR capabilities
- Experience with Pyspark, NoSQL, SQL (should at minimum understand DDL and DDM commands)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Full stack development exposure (JavaScript for front end)
