Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive mental health services to residents in long-term care facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform Health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering medications and monitoring their effects.
• Providing therapeutic interventions and counseling to residents.
• Collaborating with the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educating residents, families, and staff about mental health conditions and treatments.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
