On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is seeking a BI/Data Scientist-Analyst

Intro
We are seeking an Intermediate BI/Data Scientist-Analyst for our banking client located in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial services, expert skills in Tableau and Excel (including Macros), and a solid understanding of risk management frameworks and industry standards.

Job Details
As a BI/Data Scientist-Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing Tableau reports, modeling data, and utilizing your expertise in database and middleware technologies such as Oracle and SQL Server. You will work closely with risk and controls environments, leveraging tools like PowerBI and Tableau to analyze and solve complex problems. Your role will involve identifying opportunities, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesizing insights, and providing actionable recommendations. Effective communication of business risk status to stakeholders and prioritizing remediation efforts are essential components of this role.

Mandatory Skills
- Expert skills in Tableau and Excel (including Macros)
- Strong experience in creating Tableau reports, report optimization, and modeling
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements
- Experience in Database and Middleware technologies (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Advanced knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in the risk and controls environment with a focus on PowerBI and Tableau
- Ability to analyze and think critically, conceptually, and interpretively to solve problems
- Proficiency in communicating business risk status relevant to stakeholders and appropriate prioritization for remediation
