Bilingual Field Service Engineer (Japanese/English)

Our client is seeking a talented and bilingual Field Service Engineer fluent in both Japanese and English to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance services to our esteemed clients in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for photomask manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
2. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of photomask equipment, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
3. Client Interaction: Interface directly with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service in both Japanese and English languages.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, equipment status, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate efficient problem-solving and future reference.
5. Training: Conduct training sessions for clients on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols, fostering a strong client relationship and promoting equipment efficiency.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to communicate client feedback, suggest improvements, and contribute to product enhancement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. Fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support or field service role, preferably in the semiconductor or photomask industry.
4. Strong experience with hydraulic systems, high-pressure air systems, cyber systems, sensors, and mechanical components.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Familiarity with photolithography equipment and processes is a plus.
