We're looking for a Brand Research Manager to join the Pinterest Brand Research team. The Pinterest Brand Research team conducts custom, primary research that drives marketing strategy. This individual will oversee the end-to-end execution of market research projects focusing on our Consumer audience, including our global brand tracker. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, handling sample management and data collection processes efficiently and effectively, and liaising with stakeholders to deliver results that meet the highest quality standards.

Through their work, this person will impact Pinterest Marketing Team's campaign strategy and execution, represent the voice of our Pinners, and be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of key initiatives.

What you'll do:
  • Design research projects from start to finish, combining a variety of methodologies; including qualitative/quantitative studies, brand equity tracker data, and syndicated research integration.
  • Oversee our multi-market global brand tracker, working closely with our external partner and overseeing all data collection and analysis.
  • Lead creative, concept, and message testing for key consumer campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with senior researchers to develop your analytic and storytelling capabilities and to prioritize insights that drive change within the organization.
  • Proactively communicate and share your research findings with senior cross functional stakeholders in compelling, actionable and engaging ways.

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as research and/or measurement experience , or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in research and/or marketing strategy.
  • Possesses foundational skills in research to inform marketing strategy.
  • Utilizes a mixed methods research approach with a solid foundation in quantitative methods and data analysis tools such as Qualtrics, Excel, or SPSS and are proficient in qualitative research, either by conducting qualitative research yourself or working with a research vendor.
  • Able to identify, scope and design a research project, manage the project either independently or via research vendor, and craft a strong, story driven report.
  • Experience working with and directing research agencies/vendors to deliver results.
  • An excellent communicator and stakeholder manager who is comfortable working at varying levels of senior leadership.
