About the Role
Lead a dynamic, ever evolving team where the challenges come faster than you can swipe left. You'll be in remarkable company because each team member possesses different super powers. Partner with a clairvoyant creative strategist, brilliant visual identity designer, and operational wunderkind, to mention a few. Together, you'll be on the front lines, Chief Steward of one of the most powerful brands on earth. .

Responsibilities
- Lead the Brand Strategy and Management group, consisting of a team of various levels of expertise and disbursed across a variety of locations.
- Develop the formal brand strategy and narratives for internal / agency/ partner education for TikTok.
- Make branding decisions for emerging products and offerings, in which they would uphold brand arch.
- Develop positioning, internal messaging, guidance and external messaging for partner teams, product marketing, product launches, creator programs.
- Be responsible for positioning and branding decisions for emerging products and brands.
- Develop and oversee brand identity and design playbooks.
- Develop and oversee brand operations and governance
- Lead a direct team distributed in multiple countries, as well as manage xfn teams that need to support the marketing campaigns end-to-end.
- Be able to influence senior leadership, peers, and XFN teams when managing large scale campaigns and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Highly competent brand strategist who is able to construct brand and communication frameworks and architecture.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams building consensus for alignment related to naming, brand strategy, old/new product updates.
- Knowledge to consult on brand identity on a higher level and tactical level.

Preferred Qualifications
- Possesses strong experience in brand strategy and positioning
- Has experience with naming assignments in context of managing a global brand
- Credentialed in development of brand toolkits encompassing color, look/tone/feel, naming and brand conventions.
- Has strong experience maintaining/updating brand sites, communication of updates to guidelines to the organization
- Has deep knowledge of driving regular roadshows, workshops, and internal/agency education on brand
- Possesses strong analytical skills and able to analyze data to inform the best strategies and measure impact.
- Highly motivated and result-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities of competing importance.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to stakeholders.
- Have prior experience building high performance teams across multiple locations.
