Job Location: Remote with intermittent travel (25-50%)

Job Summary:

Project Manager will lead and manage BMS (Building Management Systems) offshore technical team and provide technical solution and architecture inputs for Life Sciences projects involving Siemens Desigo CC for HVAC control and plant utility distribution systems. Chilled and Purified Water Systems, Black Utilities Systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems. Additional areas of knowledge that would a plus, Alarm Management System & PEMS - Particles Environmental Monitor System. This role coordinates team activities and interfaces with client for requirements gathering and status updates. Requires experience with Life Science industry regulations and standards related to project design and documentation deliverables. Coordinate with Program Manager and team to ensure compliance to project deliverables and timeline.

As a Life Sciences BMS Project Manager, the following are expected to form the overall job description:

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide project management, scheduling and coordination activities for BMS (Building Management Systems) offshore technical team, related to Life Sciences manufacturing.
Technical solutions lead and project management of BMS solution design, architecture and documentation development.
Client interface for requirements gathering and project status reporting.
Coordination with Program Manager and other project leads.
Experience with GVault and Kneat or similar document control and validation systems.
Lead and manage offshore BMS technical team activities for Life Sciences projects.
Review and manage BMS design and document deliverables, ensure design and documentation deliverables are technically sound and aligns with client requirements and industry standards.
Onsite and remote client interface meetings for requirements gathering and status reporting.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in BMS engineering within the life sciences industry.
Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience within the life sciences industry.
Proven track record of managing projects in a regulated environment.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Siemens Desigo CC
In-depth knowledge of life sciences BMS (Building Management Systems) regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO) etc.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, document management systems).

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130-175K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
