Business Analyst

Location: Houston, TX or San Ramon, CA

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive business analysis to optimize business processes focused on cyber security, vulnerability management, and risk management. Collaborate with the cyber security team to develop and implement effective cyber security strategies and solutions. Develop and maintain documentation related to cyber security policies, procedures, and best practices. Liaise between technical teams and business units to ensure clear communication and understanding of cyber security measures and their impact on business operations. Support the implementation of new technologies or processes by assessing their potential cyber security implications.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a business analysis role, with a strong emphasis on gathering requirements and documenting processes. Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into business-friendly language. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
