About the Role

This is an entry level position that requires an individual to be detail-oriented to support internal tools and processes. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting internal tools issues, managing user access requests, gathering business requirements, and contributing to the development of new tools and solutions. The role will also be involved in analyzing business processes related to supported tools and creating user guides and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Investigating and resolving internal tools issues, login issues, and network issues.
  • Providing timely support to users facing technical difficulties with the internal tools.
  • Managing new user access requests for internal tools, ensuring proper authorization and permissions are granted based on user roles.
  • Collaborating with users to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories or functional specifications for supported internal tools.
  • Developing basic systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies.
  • Gathering, analysis and definition and testing of business applications and functionality that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets.
  • Working under the guidance and supervision of more senior team members, this role will undertake requirement gathering, analysis, definition, and testing of business applications and functionality
  • Creating technical and functional user guides as well as documentation for supported internal tools.
  • Managing the team's JIRA support queue by triaging incoming tickets promptly.


  • Assigning tickets to appropriate team members based on expertise or workload capacity.
  • Providing regular updates on ticket status during daily standup meetings with the team manager
  • Developing and maintaining PBI (Power BI) reports that provide valuable insights into key performance indicators relevant to our organization


Requirements
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Show understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.
  • Able to maintain automated test scripts.
  • Demonstrate understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Possess BS/BA degree in relevant discipline; or equivalent experience require.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in documenting technical information clearly.
  • Proficient in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes.
  • Capable of maintaining automated test scripts with a broad understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Experience using a recognized development methodology; e.g., Agile, SCRUM, and KANBAN.
  • Know ledge of Power BI required.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Planview PPM Pro, JIRA, DocuSign, Confluence and Sharepoint a plus.
