Our client, a local San Diego Automotive Manufacturing organization, is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to add to their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities in the aftermarket sector.
  • Identify new target markets and customer segments for growth.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive sales and market share.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business development activities and inquiries.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Identify and collaborate with industry influencers, event organizers, and media partners to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Develop co-branding and promotional opportunities with complementary businesses.
  • Provide continuous training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.
  • Offer one-on-one coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and competitions.
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing solutions that meet client needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Development capacity and hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Be a self-motivated professional who excels in fast paced environments that require out of the box thinking
  • A leader in Sales that can provide mentorship to employees, while growing the business
