The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Buyer to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Buyer, you will be the purchasing agent in support of procuring highest quality of goods at the best possible rate.

$17.00 - $21.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Procuring goods and services for the operation of the facility.
• Developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior guest service by all team members.
• Ensure compliance with the internal controls in regards to procurement procedures.
• Assist in purchasing of operational goods and services and capital assets.
• Assist in reviewing all purchasing documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Vendor relations.
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all promotions and events.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year purchasing experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Birchstreet knowledge is a plus
