Our client, Energy Provider, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Abilene, Texas

What's the Job?

• Create, update, and maintain engineering drawings, sketches, and schematics using CAD software.
• Assist in managing and documenting facilities and equipment documents.
• Gather information from various sources to complete assigned tasks (verbal instructions, sketches, field notes, etc.).
• Perform necessary mathematical calculations for projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and safe work execution.

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in Drafting & CAD or related engineering technology OR high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
