Job Summary

The priorities of this role are leading annual outcome data collection and analysis for the school, managing day-to-day career services operations, project management, and overseeing office financials.

Department-Specific Responsibilities
  • Manages Luddy annual outcome data collection, metrics analysis, and trend reporting for team, school, campus, and university stakeholders.
  • Leads, develops, and implements office processes to create efficient day-to-day operations and effective communications (including social media).
  • Co-leading management of 10-15 peer career advisors (hourly student staff) to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive first interaction with Luddy Career Services physically and digitally.
  • Standardizes project management practices and operations across the office, including managing project timelines and resource plans for multi-project/multi-phase initiatives with multiple other departments.
  • Manages projects for student and employer focused resources, such as the office's annual career search guide, program infographics, and website hiring reports.
  • Supports employer recruiting and student engagement with career services through leading operational efforts for in-office interviews, on-campus events, advising appointments, and student workshops.
  • Organizes office finances and resource utilization to minimize costs, maximize impact, and meet team needs.
  • Provides project support to Director of Career Services, including supporting strategic planning efforts, establishing operational goals, and establishing associated metrics.
General Responsibilities
  • Manages medium to large projects, from start to finish, ensuring on time completion within budget.
  • Develops project plan(s) and efficiently analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls.
  • Coordinates and facilitates efforts of project team(s) consisting of various staff and hourly employees.
  • Communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance.
  • Collaborates to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames.
  • Participates in client meetings, vendor/contract decisions, and development of project requirements and specifications.
  • May provide guidance and support to less experienced peers.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary

$57,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year, based on candidate experience and internal equity.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (EST).

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
