This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in delivering a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) with Child Welfare Digital Services (CWDS), a unique collaboration involving the California Health and Human Services Office of Technology and Solutions Integration (CalHHS OTSI), the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), and California's Counties and Tribes.

Under the general direction of the CARES Data Infrastructure (CDI) Chief (ITM I), the CDI Data Analytics Lead serves a key state role on the California Automated Response and Engagement System (CWS-CARES) project. The Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) will lead the analysis, research, and documentation while creating, defining, and implementing technical Data and/or Infrastructure tasks needed to support the CDI Unit. In addition, the CDI Data Analytics Lead will lead and mentor the CDI team in performing data analysis, research, and documentation tasks. The ITS II will manage and oversee all aspects of various projects that accomplish CDI objectives.
