UPMC is hiring a Casual Program Coordinator to support their General Academic Pediatrics office in Oakland! General Academic Pediatrics is a large pediatric department that includes numerous providers, behavioral health professionals, nursing staff, and other team members. We provide care to about 30,000 patients a year. This position will be a group wellness child visit coordinator involved in outreach to parents, coordination of group sessions and guest speakers, preparing materials, participation in all group child sessions, and supporting evaluation/QI.

This is a casual position that will work a flexible 8-hour work week.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete progress reports.
  • Develop and oversee cooperative relationships with other internal and external communities.
  • Initiate/create/oversee quality control initiatives and training for program.
  • Oversee administrative, clinical, and/or research functions for the program.
  • Provides senior level input towards program, facilities, fiscal, staff/HR, and policy planning.


Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in a human services field.
  • Five years of relevant experience. (clinical, research, administrative)

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
