In the role of Senior Safety & Health Specialist, we'll count on you to:

  • Demonstrate expertise and knowledge in managing company's SH&E program in a regional environment
  • Proficiently manage and lead SH&E staff in support of all regional SH&E requirements within an office and field environment
  • Skillfully and expertly work with senior management to successfully implement company's SH&E program
  • Be proficient in SH&E training and able to facilitate this training as required
  • Be proficient in SH&E auditing and inspection protocols, behavior-based safety observation program implementation/oversight, and review of Job Hazard Analysis
  • Understand all SH&E processes and procedures in support of SH&E requirements within office and field environment
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene or other related field
  • Previous SH&E work experience with construction and/or A&E firms. A minimum of 5 years experience managing and directing employees in the course of performing job duties


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene or other related field
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Safety Health and Environmental field
  • Certification in one or more SH&E fields such as (Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Safety Trained Supervisor (STS)) or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA & ANSI regulatory standards
  • Knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
  • Team-oriented with proven oral and written skills to support company SH&E policy and procedural requirements
  • Experienced and proven leadership skills necessary to effectively manage a staff in support of company SH&E requirements
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
