Clinic Operations Analyst - Western Carolina Physician Practices - PRN

Description

Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.

Supports Market Director and Clinic Managers. Monitors trends and new opportunities. Monitors clinic work flows. Reports Clinic productivity. Assists in projects and software roll-outs as needed.

Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.

Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Associate's degree in applicable field required.

Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Requires a working knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-9/10 Procedure Codes.

Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Working knowledge of Athena software preferred.

Required Skills

Licenses: CMA, LPN or RN preferred
