Remote Work Flexible

• Collaborate as a Cloud Development Engineer within a fast-paced and highly visible team environment of system administrators, software developers and a help desk.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade or modify sustainment systems.
• Proactively implement necessary changes for operational effectiveness and responsiveness.
• Conduct requirements analysis for ongoing and upcoming software projects.
• Undertake software development tasks, including design and coding.
• Integrate new components into existing systems.
• Continuously evaluate and assess system performance.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing systems.
• Address issues and ensure the ongoing reliability of systems.
• Participate in testing processes to validate the functionality and performance of developed software.
• Telework authorization is on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills:

• Four (4) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies .
• Proficient in Java development within cloud environments.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
• Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS.
• Ability to work during core hours of 10AM-2PM Monday- Friday.
• Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Desired Skills:

• Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
• Experience with IBM Sterling and/or Oracle
