A Cloud DevOps Engineer would
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions in cloud environments; GCP
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating testing and monitoring frameworks to enable rapid and continuous software delivery.
Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure and robust network configurations
Continuously assess and improve system reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Drive automation initiatives to streamline manual processes and enhance productivity across the organization.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architectures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

Key Qualifications
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Knowledge of working with public cloud providers such as GCP
Understanding of networking concepts on Cloud, like VPCs/Subnets, Firewalls and LoadBalancers.
Experience in CI/CD applying Jenkins, GitLabs or similar CICD systems
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
Knowledge of working with OS environments such as Linux or Unix and ability to script for them in Python, Go or Powershell
Hands on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent
Familiarity with logging and observability technologies such as Splunk and Prometheus/Elk Stack or similar
Analytical & problem solving skills, ability to communicate ideas clearly
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes, promoting efficiency, scalability, and reliability throughout our software delivery lifecycle. Your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure management will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.

You will Work with the application development teams to understand requirements for the hosting infrastructure. Build and maintain the infrastructure. Test to verify that the infrastructure can handle the expected load and can recover from failures. Build & configure networking, compute, storage and other cloud-native services relevant for the application needs. Building necessary monitoring to be able to observer systems and support high-availability
